His projects have been recognized for their results—from attracting top talent and enticing bright minds into STEM fields of study, to inspiring interdisciplinary collaboration and flexing as needed to adapt to advances in science research. A respected authority in research facility expertise, 2019 marks Chris' third consecutive year as an invited speaker at the premier industry event Lab Design Conference.

"Early schematic design is my favorite part of the design process. Done in a collaborative manner with the client and other stakeholders, ideas begin to formulate about what the facility or master plan will develop into. These diverse opinions eventually converge into a single idea that everyone supports and feels like they are part of the solution."
