Over the years, he has also served as principal-in-charge, quality assurance/quality control officer, project manager, and project architect on more than 75 projects. During his 40-plus years with the firm, Nick has played key roles in its growth and the expansion of its practice. In support of his personal goal to help others succeed, Nick is a proponent of programs that nurture employee growth. In 2003, he launched the highly successful Summer Scholars program, in which over 50 students from 23 universities have participated over the years. He also encouraged development of the Academy, a diverse in-house continuing education effort.
"As an arranger and an organizer, I love the 'alpha and omega' of a project. I like to put together the path toward its vision and see it through to the stage where the client's expectations have been exceeded and people's lives are impacted by our design."
