HCDL Shines Bright at 2022 AIA RVA Honors & Awards

Within less than a year of opening, our Richmond office has already made quite a name for itself! Designated as the Hanbury Community Design Laboratory (HCDL), our Richmond team aims to make a meaningful connection with the local community and to facilitate creative work, innovative ideas, and impactful events that help to make the city better for everyone. The talent, hard work, and commitment to the profession of our HCDL colleagues were celebrated with a series of award wins at this year’s AIA Richmond Honors & Awards program.

A longstanding component of AIA Richmond’s Honors and Awards program, the Alice Lehman Sunday Prize celebrates the talent of our emerging professionals throughout the city. This year was exceptionally competitive with around 40 total submissions, and we are delighted that of the 11 submissions awarded by the jury, our team at Hanbury Community Design Lab received more than half!
