New Summer Scholars at Hanbury

For the fifteenth year, we welcome our Summer Scholars. Here at Hanbury, we don’t call them interns because they’re so much more. They become part of our team and we learn from them, too. They not only keep us abreast of what’s being taught in architecture schools, but they also bring new experiences with technologies, representation and design. Here’s a short introduction.

Zhenzhen Feng

Zhenzhen Feng is a master of architecture candidate, 2018, from Virginia Tech. At the university, she has assisted with graphic design for Studio Collective, which is a design journal partnered with the School of Architecture + Design. It celebrates the work of students with the aim to broaden awareness and conversations about design. She also holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology.

Omkar Prabhu

Omkar Prabhu is a bachelor of architecture candidate, 2018, from Mississippi State University. His previous experience includes a research fellow position with Method Studio where he researched and worked on rebranding micro housing to target the millennial market, and an extern position with SOM. Omkar’s experience also includes founding his own startup business designing and subcontracting residential interiors.

Niki Tandanand
