Jeffrey Butts brings a full suite of skills to his design work, from graphic design to writing to art direction. Passionate about people and how they use space, his creative energies are fed not only by architecture, but also by personal projects that challenge and inspire him. With much appreciation given to the final product, Jeffrey also enjoys the conceptual phases of a project, finding the push-and-pull and rapid iteration process a key to discovering potential design solutions.

He joined Hanbury in mid-2016 after nearly five years of working with KGD-Architecture in Bangalore, India and Force 4 Architects in Copenhagen. Jeffrey also served in the AmeriCorps from May 2008 to April 2009.

"I love the opportunity to face the unknown, in architecture and in design as a whole. The challenge is to strike a balance with the spontaneously-arising unknowns with the pre-charted expectations."
