New Headquarters and Manufacturing Building
VGXI is a full service Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that produces DNA plasmids for human clinical trials, virus production, toxicology studies and pre-clinical research. A global leader in contract manufacturing, VGXI has imagined a new corporate headquarters, base of research operations and production facility that will embrace employee health and wellness within a setting which supports transformational science. Located on a 20-acre parcel in an emerging technology and research park, Hanbury's designers have created a 115,000-square-foot environment that will serve as a showcase for clients and visitors, will be an appealing workplace for employees, and will feature a cGMP environment that meets all specific needs for safety and containment.
This new facility for VGXI contains a mixture of laboratories, high hood-density laboratories, pharmaceutical cleanrooms and support spaces, as well as corporate office and amenity spaces. The building will be constructed with a modular concept in order to allow for the further growth of VGXI’s current service offerings as well as anticipated expansion into emerging scientific processes. The Hanbury team leveraged its strategic facility planning and life science expertise to help VGXI analyze its existing operations and advance those characteristics into the building design.
