Call for submissions! 2016 Summer Design Scholar Competition
The Hanbury Summer Scholar program provides a unique opportunity for visiting students and firm professionals to work side by side and learn from each other. Project work, design competitions, field trips, lectures and critiques are included in the summer experience. This full-time position provides competitive compensation and includes housing. We are accepting applications for our class of 2016, open to upper-level undergraduates and graduate students in architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, and interior design. The program will run from May 30 – August 8. Submissions will be evaluated by an in-house jury. To qualify for our design jury evaluation, candidates must complete all three competition requirements. These include a portfolio, resume and application form (basic information and academic/professional references). The competition closes at midnight on Monday, February 22, and selections will be made by March 1, 2016. Applicants will be notified of their entry status once the offers have been accepted.
